Evaluate and research hardware alternatives. Design hardware testing and qualification procedures. Develop automation tools and scripts for hardware qualification. Work with vendors and partners to create optimal hardware configurations. Become a hardware domain expert in a dominantly software oriented company.

Software development experience (preferably C/C++). Hardware experience with server hardware / flash / storage / UPS. BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Understanding of Linux operating system. Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP). Python scripting – advantage.
