An expert in Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP and other common network protocols.
At least 3 years of experience with Python/Ruby/Java/Node.js/Go or equivalent server side language Knowledge in Puppet, Chef or other configuration management tools
A good understanding of large-scale web architectures: Load balancers, Web servers, CDNs, etc.
You may also have experience with Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
Experience working with AWS, GCE or other cloud providers.
A good understanding of distributed systems – CAP theorem, understanding the tradeoffs, etc.
Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, Rails, Express or similar.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes, Swarm or Mesos Basic understanding of Windows Server and IIS
