We are looking for a devops team leader to lead a team of devops engineers while staying hands-on.
Responsibilities
Provide strong and effective leadership to a multi-functional devops team (infrastructure, database, development)
Management and maintenance of our platforms, including:
Day to day support and response to service incidents
Infrastructure and software maintenance and deployments
Monitoring capabilities and tools
Priorities and organize daily work for the team
Ensure service slas and kpis are met
Contract and vendor management
Hardware and software procurement

5+ years production systems support and management
3+ years management devops / operation teams
Application lifecycle management ci/cd (jenkins)
Deployment automation experience with puppet/chef/ansible/salt stack
Physical datacenter management and hardware procurement
Cloud service platform. aws / gcp / azure
Previous experience of managing an agile or operational team
Knowledge of best practices and it operations in an always-up, always-available service.
Good interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Analytical approach, with attention to results and urgency
Strong technical skills, ideally having exposure to web applications and/or infrastructure management
Proven ability to implement and manage processes
Development languages python, bash, java
Deep working knowledge of linux servers and networked environments
Thorough understanding of distributed systems and the protocols they use, including tcp/ip, restful apis, sql, nosql experience in managing a nosql database (cassandra) is a huge plus.
